Reiko Mibu, a resident of Torrance, was born to Ichiro and Yae Iwamoto in Toppenish, WA on February 17, 1931. Always smiling and happy to see and talk to everyone, Reiko loved to eat sushi and just about anything that was sweet up until she passed away peacefully on March 8, 2021, at the age of 90. Reiko is preceded in death by her husband Osami, her son Rick, sisters June Kajiwara and Mary Oshima, brother George Iwamoto, and sister-in-law Sajiko Oda. She leaves behind her son Scott (Stephanie) Mibu and grandsons Dylan and Ethan Mibu. She is also survived by her sister Chiyo Inouye, sister-in-law Kay Arima and many nieces, nephews, and will be missed by many other relatives and friends. A private service will be postponed to a later date.
