Philip N. Ito was born in Chicago, Illinois and at two months old, he and his family moved to Pasadena where he lived until his passing on May 17, 2017. He dedicated 40-years of his life to his family's insurance company.
Philip was an avid fisherman, had a love-hate-relationship with golf, and loved to travel the world. In his retirement, he spent most of his time playing with his three grandchildren whom he loved more than anything. He also enjoyed sharing his love and passion for food and drinks with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ito; daughters, Leslie (Steven Wong) and Noelle (Cliff Okada) Ito; and most cherished grandchildren, Rockett and Zoe Wong, and Kinsey Okada; sister, Patty Ito Nagano; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Public visitation for the late Philip N. Ito will be held on Friday, June 2 nd , 5-7 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St. in Los Angeles.
In lieu of flowers or koden, the family requests that donations be made to Philip's favorite non-profit organizations, LTSC/Budokan of Los Angeles, Japanese American Cultural & Community Center, or Villa Esperanza.
