Memorial services for the late Mrs. Peggy Sumiko Masuzumi, a 70 year-old, Los Angeles-born Sansei resident of Gardena and former Poston Relocation Camp internee who passed away on December 23, 2010 will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2011, 2:00 PM at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158th St., Gardena, CA 90247, officiated by Pastor Stephen Langley.

Mrs. Masuzumi is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Glenn (Ana), Janice Masuzumi-Macaraeg, and Sharon (Paul) Sawai; grandchildren, Brandon, Kristin and Bryan Masuzumi and Kailee and Karson Sawai; siblings, Mildred Castro, and Kathleen (Steve) Kubota-Fox; brothers-in-law, Ralph (Vivian) and Bobby (Chris) Masuzumi. Also survived by many other relatives.
