Peggie Akiko Wada, age 97, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2023 at Little Company of Mary Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her husband Jack Sr, daughter Elaine Yokoyama (Mickey), and granddaughter, Jessica Nunez (David).

She is survived by her son, Jack Wada Jr., grandchildren, Jenny Laurens (Chris), Wendy Turner (Ollie), Brian Wada (Rafia), Brent Wada (Aja), and 10 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews.

Peggie was known for always being there for friends and family. She always had a smile along with a cheerful disposition. She loved attending grand and great-grandchildren's various sporting events throughout the years. She will forever be remembered in our hearts.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. First Street, Los Angeles, with burial immediately following at Green Hills Memorial Park, 27501 S. Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes.
