Yamauchi, Dr. Paul Kazu, 93 year old resident of Los Angeles for the past 52 years, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Dr. Paul was a family physician who practiced in Little Tokyo for 29 years before he retired in 1985. A public viewing will be held at Fukui Mortuary, on Friday, November 7, 2008 from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM. The family requests that those wishing to give koden or flowers make a donation in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, Little Tokyo Service Center, Keiro or your favorite charity.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Helen Kimi, sons, Norman (Nora), Kent (Lisa), daughters Carol (David) Kawai, Leah (Rick) Kurihara, and grandchildren Michelle Yamauchi, Jeffrey Yamauchi, Brandon Yamauchi, Nicole Kawai, Kyle Kurihara, and Kristen Kurihara.
