Paul Katsuyuki Masuzumi, a 77-year-old Long Beach, California-born long-time resident of Gardena who served honorably in the US Army passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2017.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Peggy Masuzumi and his brother, Ralph Masuzumi of Oregon.  He is survived by his children, Glenn (Ana) Masuzumi, Janice (Mark) Masuzumi-Matsunaga and  Sharon (Paul) Sawai; grandchildren, Brandon, Kristin and Bryan Masuzumi and Kailee and Karson Sawai; brother Bob (Chris) Masuzumi; sisters-in-law Vivian Masuzumi of Oregon, Mildred Castro and Kathleen (Steve) Kubota-Fox.  Also survived by many other relatives.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 11:00 AM at Gardena Valley Baptist Church, 1630 W. 158 ^th St., Gardena, CA.   Casual attire please.
