KUGA, PATRICK

March 17, 1932- October 4, 2024

Patrick Kenkichi Kuga passed away of natural causes on October 4, 2024 at the age of 92.  Patrick was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Kenzo and Tsui Kuga.  He lived in Gardena, California for the last 59 years with his loving wife.

Patrick served in the army stationed in Japan; he trained as a medical technician.  Following that he worked at JPL in Pasadena and Hughes Aircraft in El Segundo.  After retiring from aerospace engineering, he enjoyed golfing, fishing, skeet and trap shooting, having coffee with his buddies, calling "Bingo" at Gardena Buddhist Church festivals, and especially spending time with family, friends, and their pets.

Patrick was predeceased by his siblings Rose, Harry, Chizu, Jim, George, by his nieces Linda, Laura, and by nephew Malcolm.

Patrick is survived by his wife Annette Kuga, by his sisters-in-law Marilou Okano (Michael Boal), Joanne Okano, and many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A private family gathering was held for Patrick at Green Hills Memorial Park on November 30, 2024.
