Owen Ikeda, a 92-year-old veteran who honorably served in the 442 ^nd /100 ^th Battalion during World War II passed away on December 12, 2016.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles with Rimban William Briones of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Predeceased by his wife, Umeko Nancy Ikeda; he is survived by his children, Suzee Wendy and Ronald (Irene) Ikeda; grandchildren, Kimberly (Eric) Hosozawa and Randy Ikeda; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
