A private graveside service for the late Osamu Sam Shimizu, 84-year-old Nisei who passed away peacefully on October 15th at his residence in Monterey Park, was held at Rose Hills Memorial Park. He is survived by his loving wife, Kay Shimizu; son, Ron Shimizu; daughter, Karen (Robert) Bums; stepson, Lewis Saruwatari; grandchildren, Cory Yates, Ryan and Kelli Shimizu; also by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
