Beloved wife of the late Hiroshi Kiriu, OLIVE "PENNY" S. KIRIU, 76, Brawley born Nisei and resident of Monterey Park passed away on June 26 while enjoying her favorite hobby, gardening. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 1:00PM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 East 1st St., Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. The family requests casual attire.

She is survived by her son, Ervin; brother, Akira (Jane) Okutsu; nieces and nephews of her late brothers, Tom Okutsu and Bill Okutsu; nieces Maxine Hosaka and Janice Kaneko of her late sister Mary Tsuji; brothers-in-law, Robert (Dorothy) Kiriu and Hisao Kiriu; sisters-in-law, Beverly (Robert) Furuya and Betty Kiriu (wife of the late Frank Kiriu); and other loving relatives.
