Funeral services for the late Nobuo Yamanaka , 84-year-old, resident of Burbank, who passed away on March 9, 2016, was held on Saturday, March 19, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", with Emeritus Bishop Taisen Miyata officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Hatsuye; daughters, Linda and Cindy Yamanaka, and Irene Emi (Roy Takashi) Nakahira; grandchildren, Kyle Takashi and Jessica Emi Nakahira; 4 brothers and 1 sister; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives in Japan.
