A private funeral service for the late Nobuko "Noby" Murakami, 93-year-old, CA born resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on December 31, 2021, was held on Saturday, January 15th at St. Francis Xavier Church in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by her husband, Hiroshi Murakami and son, Paul "Osam" Murakami; she is survived by her children, Georgette and Jeanette Murakami, Suzanne (Gene) Matsuura, John "Hibo" Murakami, Carol Murakami, Mary Ann Kato, and Mary Ellen (Keith) Nobuhara; daughter-in-law Michelle Chen; grandchildren, Jenny (Mike) Carter, Ted (Cecile) Ross, Mike (Stephanie) Ross, Jeff (Kat) Matsuura, Cyndy (Russell Wong) Matsuura, Rob Matsuura, Sara (Nathan) Kositsawat, Keith (Lauren) Murakami, Michael (Casey) Song, Becky Song, Maddie Kato, Sofie Kato, Matt Nobuhara, Dylan Nobuhara, Lauren Nobuhara and 10 great-grandchildren; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
