Funeral service for the late Nick Yasumitsu Nakano, 88-year-old, CA born resident of Gardena, who passed away on June 10, 2012, will be held on Saturday, June 23, 11 a.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena.
He is survived by his wife, Etsuko Nakano; children, Arleen Miya, and Gary (Sheri), David (Lori), Patsy and Dr. Mark (Julie) Nakano; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Haruye Nagatoishi, Jack (Vicki) Nakano, Louise Taketaya, and Henry (Yaeko) Nakano; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
