Neal Mitsuo Hayashida, 97, born in Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away peacefully on September 28, 2026, at St. Jude Hospital in Fullerton. He is survived by his loving family: sons, Nelson (Janet), John (Andrea), and Glenn; two grandchildren, Erin and Scott Hayashida; brothers, Carroll, Harold, Raymond (Deanna), and Franklin (Marian) Hayashida; sister, Elaine (T.C.) Chung; sister-in-law, Fujiko Hayashida; and many nephews and nieces. He was the third son in a family of eight brothers and two sisters. 

A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 16, 2026, at 11:00 AM at the Orange County Buddhist Church, located at 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA 92804. 

Casual attire is suggested. 

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Orange County Buddhist Church in memory of Neal.
