Nancy Satsuye Horii, age 89, born in San Juan Bautista, CA, resident of Torrance and former resident of Goleta and Gardena, passed away peacefully on Thurs. Jan. 3, 2013. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, George Fusao Horii and survived by her beloved children, Ronald (Lorraine) Horii, Karen Horii, Marilyn (Mike) Tsuge, and Patty (Paul) Tartaglia of Maryland; grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Horii, Russell and Brandon Tsuge, and Jennifer Tartaglia of Maryland; sisters-in-law, Louise Kawamoto, June Yamamoto, Mary (Kazuo) Kajiyama, and Jeanette Horii; brothers-in-law, Tetsuo Murata, Howard (Paula) Horii, Harry (Chita) Horii, Robert (Mary) Horii, and many other relatives here in the US and in Japan.

Funeral Services will be held on Fri. Jan. 18, 11 a.m. at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, CA.
