A funeral service for the late Nana Tanahashi, 85-year-old, Colorado born, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away peacefully on March 17, 2025, will be held on Saturday, May 10, 11 a.m. at Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple, 505 E. 3rd St. in Los Angeles.

A long-term employee of Bank of America with a career lasting over 40 years, Nana is predeceased by her beloved husband, Tamotsu Tanahashi; six older brothers and her parents Masao and Hideyo Hisamoto; she is survived by her sons, Robert Kenji Tanahashi and Brian (Fely) Tanahashi; granddaughters, Megan Tanahashi and Leilani Tanahashi of Tennessee; grandson, Kollin Tanahashi; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
