SHINGU, Nami

On March 21 ^st Nami Shingu passed away at age 99.  A resident of Pasadena, she was born in San Francisco on January 31, 1918.  With her husband Lloyd Shingu (predeceased) she was a loving mother to Marian Shingu (Frank) Sata, Mae (Robert) Uchida, Douglas (Judy) Kosobayashi and Rod Shingu.  She will forever live in the grateful hearts of her children, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and her many beloved relatives and friends.

A memorial will be held on April 22 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Altadena, 2775 Lincoln Ave., Altadena, CA 91001.  In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church, Altadena; Pasadena Japanese Cultural Institute; Union Church of Los Angeles or to a favorite charity.
