Funeral service for the late Mutsuo Hirose, 96-year-old, California-born, resident of Santa Ana, who passed away on July 17, 2024, will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2 p.m. at Zenshuji Soto Mission 123 S. Hewitt St. in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by his beloved wife, Lynette Hirose and siblings, Atsushi Hirose, Mizuye Kawaguchi, Ruriko Hirose, and Ikuo Hirose; he is survived by his daughter, Tara Afton Hirose (Jeff) Wu; grandson, Nathan Mutsuo Wu; brother, Mutsumi Hirose; he is also survived by nieces and nephews and other relatives.
