Private funeral services for the late Motomi Hayata Okihara, 69-year-old, resident of Los Angeles, who passed away on June 8, 2010, were held on Sunday, June 13, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", with Rev. Kojo Kakihara from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her siblings, Hirokuni (Tokiko) Hayata, Miwako (Minoru) Suda, Tomoaki (Diane), Bunji, and Tom (Keiko) Hayata; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
