Family services for the late Motoko Itagaki, 68-year-old Yamaguchi-Ken-born naturalized U.S. citizen and resident of Los Angeles who passed away on September 12 at LAC-USC Medical Center, were held on September 19 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rinban Chuho Matsubayashi of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her husband, Hideo Itagaki; daughter, Julia (Robert) Okamuro; sons, Glenn (Joanne) Itagaki and Steven (Shirl) Itagaki; six grandchildren; sister-in-law, Haruye Togashi; and other relatives.
