Funeral service for Morio Maemura 79-year-old Kagoshima-ken born resident of Walnut who passed away on Aug. 22, 2009 at his residence, will be held on Sat. Aug. 29 from 4:00 PM at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Kenjun Kawawata from West Covina Higashi Honganji officiating.
He is survived by his wife, Ritsuko Maemura; son, Mike Susumu Maemura; daughters, June (Tom) Booth and Naomi (Chuck) Leeper; 5 grandchildren; brother, Kasumi Maemura; Iku Nishi of Japan, Kie Suruki and Sueko (Susumu) Kawase of Japan; sister-in-law, Yoko Maemura; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
