A family funeral service for the late Mrs. Miyo Nishimura, an 84-year-old, San Francisco-born Nisei resident of Torrance and retired bookkeeper of Castillo & Ebenhoch who passed away on March 13, 2013 was held privately at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, officiated by Rimban Hiroshi Abiko.

Mrs. Nishimura was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joe. Sister of Tats Yago; sister-in-law of Kuniko Nishimura, Mitsuko Phillips and Nora Nishimura; aunt of Joyce Yago Quan, Susan Baker, Vicki Mato, Cheri Pacis, Theo Kushi, Lara Milrod and Kathy Russ. Also survived by many other relatives.
