A funeral service for the late Miyoko Kanzawa, 84-year-old, Los Angeles, California-born, resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on January 17, 2026, will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2 p.m. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple 815 E. First St. in Los Angeles.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, Sanji Kanzawa; she is survived by her children, Kiyoshi (Luanne), Tsuyoshi and Sanae Kanzawa; grandchildren, Nathan Baylor, Arend Kanzawa and Kiana Kanzawa; siblings, Shoji (Masako) Nakashimo; she is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
