Funeral service for the late Miyoko Hirai, 86-year-old, Japan born long time resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on January 5, 2015, will be held on Friday, January 16, 2 p.m. at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., L.A with Rev. Tomoo Murakami from Tenrikyo South Carlifornia Church officiating.
She is survived by her child, Takeo (Elisabeth) Hirai; grandchildren, Matthew Takumi and Nathaniel Yuuki Hirai; sisters, Hisako Kimura and Keiko Hiiragi of Japan; brother, Hiromu Nishida of Japan; sister-in-law, Tamiko (Merol) Wersinger of MO; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and Japan.
