HAMASAKI, MIWA, Age 82, was born in San Pedro, moved to Terminal Island and lived there until World War II. She passed away on Aug. 12, 2006, at St. Vincent Medical Center; survived by sister, Nagisa Hamasaki; nephew, Yasuhiro Hamasaki of Japan; cousins, Namiye Aiso, Tomio (Minako) Nakano, Mitsuro Nakano, Kiyomi Nakano and Aiko (Marvin) Tsutsui; and also, she is survived by many other relatives.

Memorial service will be held on Fri. Aug. 18. 11:00 A.M. at Green Hills Memorial Chapel 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 with Rev. Dr. Richard Kuyama of Centenary United Methodist Church officiating.
