Private family funeral services for Mitsuye Yamasaki, 74 year old Caliente, Nevada-born Nisei resident of Torrance who passed away on January 18, 1998 at Bay Harbor Hospital were held on Wednesday, January 21,1998 at Seicho-No-Ie under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

Mrs. Yamasaki is survived by her son, Dean Shingo Yamasaki; brother, Shigeru (Tomiko) Ohno; sisters, Mary (Shigeo) Kawamoto of Hawaii and Grace (Tachio) Fukuyama of Orange County.

Mrs. Yamasaki's beloved husband, Mr. Makoto Yamasaki peacefully passed away on June 5th 2009. Family funeral services will be held privately.
