Mitsuo Yamane, was born on May 5, 1918 in Honolulu, Hawaii.  He passed away peacefully at the age of 100.  He was a Purple Heart recipient, and served with the 100th Battalion in WWII.  He is survived by his daughter, Marlene Yamane-Chau, son in law, Francois Chau, and granddaughter, Zoey Rika Chau.
