YAHATA, Mitsuo "Mits" (84) Passed away peacefully on October 10, 2015.
Mits is survived by his loving family; wife, Shirley Yahata; daughter, Janice (Jerry) Miyasato of HI; son, Ryan Yahata; grandchildren, Jared and Jessica Miyasato of HI; brother, Taichi Yahata of HI; sisters, Asako (Joe) Teves of HI, Miyako Tanabe of Maryland; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial service will be Saturday, November 21, 11:00 AM at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 2706 West 182nd St., Torrance with Rev. Ken Suhr of Faith United Methodist Church Officiating. Please contact Faith UMC (310) 217-7000 with any questions regarding this service.
Family is requesting casual attire and the omission of flowers please.
