WATANABE, Mitsuko (84) born Okayama-Ken, Japan, peacefully passed away on September 29th. Beloved mother of Edward Watanabe; grandmother of Taylor T. and Hayley N Watanabe; sister of Tom (Alice) and Masashi (Grace) Miyaoka, Yoshiko (George) Nishikawa, Miyoko (Sam) Owada, and Kuniko Miyaoka of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service was held on Monday, October 5th at Ivy Chapel of Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Masaaki Shiraiwa frpm Union Church of Los Angeles officiating. In lieu of customary monetary gifts and flowers, a donation to Keiro Nursing Home in Mitsuko Watanabe' name wil be deeply appreciated.
