Funeral Services for the late Mitsuko Sugihara, 84-year-old Fukuoka-Ken-born Issei and resident of Gardena who passed away on June 30 at the Little Company of Mary Hospital, will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2 p.m., at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Ronald) Kawai; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
