Funeral service for Mitsuko "Mitsy" Oda, 79-year-old resident of Newport Coast who passed away on Jan. 31, 2007 at her residence, will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 6 from 2:00 PM at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
The deceased is survived by her husband, Harunori Harry Oda; son, Kenneth (Judy); daughter, Amy (Gary) Uyemura; 3 grandchildren, Taylor and Kyle Oda and Sachi Uyemura; siblings, Chizu (Yoshihiko) Kitagawa of Camarillo, Kazu Arisawa of Japan, Richard (Chiharu) Kitagawa of Carpinteria, Yohko (James) Arnett of Santa Ana and Hiroshi (Carol) Kitagawa of Irvine; many nieces, nephes and other relatives.
