Mitsuko "Mitzi" Kurashita, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and aunt passed away peacefully on November 7 at the age of 94. She is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Howard) Halm and Mary Ann (Mori) Kawasaki; grandchildren, David (Melodee) Halm, Eric Halm, Marisa (Matt) Kogan, Laura (Dan) Wong and Janine Kawasaki; great grandchildren, Matthew and Devin Halm, Henry and Lia Kogan, and Braden, Dane, and Trent Wong; sister, Akiko Yagi, and many other relatives. Mitzi was a retiree of the Veteran's Administration. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Kurashita and her long-time companion, Albert Jung.
Mitzi's memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 27, 2015, 3:00 pm at WLA United Methodist Church, 1913 Purdue Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90025
