Mitsugi Roy Uyeki, age 94 born in Newcastle, CA, resident of San Gabriel, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2013. He is survived by his beloved wife, Fumiko Uyeki; children, Hiroko Julie (Bob) Otake and Janice Junko (Trey) Sawyer, and four grandchildren, Bryan Otake, Keri Kira, Danielle Sawyer and Chaz Sawyer and five great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Hitoshi Uyeki, sister, Toshie Uyeda, sister-in-law, Harue Ueki and three sisters in Japan and many other relatives.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 18, from 11 a.m. at Fukui Mortuary Chapel in the Garden, 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA with minister of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
