Funeral services for the late Mitsue Wakabayashi, 81-year-old Oakland-born long time resident of Boyle Heights who passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 11 in Sacramento, will be held on Saturday, July 21, 9 a.m. at Quiet Cannon "San Antonio Room", 801 N. Via San Clemente, Montebello, officiated by Rev. Kenjo Igarashi and directed by Fukui Mortuary.

She was preceded in death by her late husband, George Hiroshi and is survived by son, Glen (Shelley) Wakabayashi; daughter, Helen Keiko Lucas; grandchildren, Jordann and Tori Ann Wakabayashi and Brian and Kevin Lucas.
A private family burial will follow the funeral services.
