Misao Okino, Los Angeles-born resident of Torrance, passed away peacefully on April 15 at the age of 96. She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Cheryl (Alan) Masukawa, sons, David (Linda), and Jon (Angela) Okino; grandchildren Darren and Kristin Okino, Eric (Kaela) Masukawa, great-grandson Grayson Masukawa and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A private family funeral & interment service was held on April 30, at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, with Rimban William Briones officiating.
