Memorial services for Mrs. Miri Murakami, an 89 year-old resident of Kent, Washington who passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 and is in Heaven with Jesus will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 10:30 AM at WLA United Methodist Church, 1913 Purdue Ave., West Los Angeles, CA 90025.
Born April 1, 1922 to Harukichi and Yuri Nagahama, sister of Junichi Nagahama. Beloved wife of Rev. Harry Murakami; mother of Ann (Lowell) Zweigle, Peggy Murakami, Glenn (Karen Yamada) Murakami, Alan (Ilene Toy) Murakami, and Gail Murakami; grandmother of Connie & Randy Zweigle, Justin & Ryan Young, Derek, Kyle, Scottie & Mikey Murakami; sister of Kazuko Kinoshita. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
