Minoru "Mino" Taguchi was a flower grower in the San Fernando Valley for over 50 years and he loved to "socialize" with his buddies at the Southern California Flower Market. Even though he worked almost every day, he would always make time to take his kids to Griffith Park, amusement parks, and visit Obaa-chan & Ojii‑chan. He and his wife Mieko also enjoyed bowling; and playing blackjack, craps and sports book on their many fun‑filled trips to Vegas.

Mr. Minoru "Mino" Taguchi , 89 year old, was born in Manhattan Beach, CA; resident of Winnetka, CA, passed away on December 27, 2017. He is survived by his wife Mieko Taguchi ; children: Dan (Lily) Taguchi , Jane Taguchi (Terence Chang), Gail Taguchi ,  and Roger (Leticia) Taguchi ; grandchildren: Kiana "Jin" Taguchi , and Stephanie Ramirez. He is also survived by his  sisters: Emiko Nitta and Michiko Murakami; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation: Thursday, January 11, 2018, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., at Fukui Mortuary, 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, California 90012 .

Funeral Service: Friday, January 12, 2018, 11:00 a.m. Union Church of Los Angeles, 401 E. Third St., Los Angeles, CA 90013 . Casual attire please. No koden accepted.

Graveside Service: Private, family only. To be arranged.
