Obituary
Minoru Sakauye a -95-year-old El Centro, California-born Kibei-Nisei former internee of Manzanar Relocation Camp during WWII passed away on July 19, 2016. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016, 11:00 AM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012, officiated by Rev. Ryuzen Hayashi of Koyasan Buddhist Temple.
Survived by his son Toshihiko Sakauye; sister, Eiko Mori of Japan; nieces, Sayako Uyeno, Yasuko Yamada of Japan, and nephew, Yoshiteru Mori of Japan; brother-in-law, Jack Yoshio Uyeno. Also survived by many other relatives, both here and in Japan.
