Funeral services for the late Mr. Minoru "George" Ota, 95 year old Fresno, California-born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on February 14, 2011 were held privately at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rimban Hiroshi Abiko of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.

Mr. Ota is survived by his sons, Richard Mitsuru (Margaret Sumie) and Toshio (Yoshiko); daughter, Aiko Warner of Portland, Oregon. Also survived by 4 grandsons, 2 grand-daughters, 3 great-grandsons, 6 great-granddaughters and many other relatives both here and in Japan.
