Funeral services for the late Minoru Kohara, 84-year-old Kagoshima-Ken-born resident of Fountain Valley who passed away on September 2 at his residence, will be held on Wednesday, September 12 from 7 p.m. at Orange County Buddhist Church, 909 S. Dale Ave., Anaheim, CA.

He is survived by his wife, Setsuko; sons, Yoshihisa (Mitsuyo) and Kenichi (Setsuko); daugher, Akemi (Mitsugu) Koizumi; 7 grandchildren; sisters, Miki Uchizono, Tachiko (Kaoru) Azuma and Satsu Yagoshi, all of Japan; brother, Morio (Shigeko) Kohara, also of Japan; sister-in-law, Hide Kohara, also of Japan; and other relatives.
