Family services for the late Minoru "Jack" Ota, 89-year-old Baldwin Park, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Torrance (and Veteran of WWII ) who passed away on June 3 at the Little Company of Mary Transitional Care Center, were held on June 10 at Evergreen Cemetery graveside with Rev. Clifford Ishigaki officiating and Fukui Mortuary directing.

He is survived by his brothers, Katsumi (Odiene) Ota and Suemi Ota; sisters, Michie Berner and Dorothy (Roy) Udo; nephews, Anthony (Margaret) Udo, Boyd Ota and Reed Ota; grandniece, Kerry Udo; grandnephew, Geoffrey Udo; and other relatives.
