Funeral services for the late Mineo Yamamoto, 100 year old Wakayama-Ken, Japan-born resident of Whittier, who passed away on Jan 13, 2008 was held on Jan 20, 2008 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel in the Garden with Reverend Shuichi Kurai of Montebello Sozenji Buddhist Temple officiating.

Mineo is survived by wife, Hiroko Yamamoto; daughters, Harumi Mae (Bobby) Uchimura, Mineko Mary (Henry) Honda, and Hiromi (Ron) Yamamoto-Sherman: also by five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
