Memorial services for the late Mr. Miles Masayuki Hamada, a Courtland-Merritt Island, California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles and former internee of Amache Relocation Camp during World War II,proud veteran of the 100h Battalion/442 RCT., Company "C" awardee of two Purple Hearts, Congressional Gold Medal and the Silver Star, who passed away on December 14, 2012, will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 11:00 AM at Faith United Methodist Church, 2115 W. 182nd St., Torrance, CA 90504, officiated by Rev. Kenneth Suhr. The family respectfully requests casual attire and that flowers be omitted.

Beloved father of Miles Stanley (Betty) Hamada, Pauline (Ray) Hamada-Cerullo, David (Ofelia) Hamada and Emi (Tom Braceland) Hamada; grandfather of Lauren (Noah) Limbaugh, Christopher Cerullo, Sandra and David M. Hamada; brother of Grace Sotomura, Jack (Sue), Roy and William (Frances) Hamada. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
