A private family funeral service for the late Mrs. Mieko Teranishi, 81 year-old, kibei Nisei, British Columbia, Canada born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on December 11 at her residence was held on Saturday, December 20 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rimban Chuho Matsubayashi of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

She is survived by her son, Arthur Masahiko Teranishi; brother, Noboru (Tomiko) Tanimoto of Hiroshima, Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
