Funeral services for the late Midori N. Tanaka, 86-year-old Long Beach-born Nisei resident of Gardena who passed away on March 13 at her residence, will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 10 a.m., at Gardena Buddhist Church, 1517 W. 166th St., Gardena, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

She is survived by her husband, Jeff Hideo Tanaka; sons, Garry (Sue), Ronnie (Janice) and Kenneth Tanaka; daughter, Charlene Tanaka; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brother, Hiroshi (Jane) Meifu of Nevada; and other relatives.
The family requests that flowers be omitted.
