Michi loved life, her family and friends. She was filled with joy and loved to laugh.  Michi loved to dance, travel and go on any adventure.  It's her smile that will be remembered most.

Each member of her family was able to express their love and gratitude to Michi before she peacefully passed.  She took her last breath while her daughter was on the phone and a kind nurse held her hand.

Now in Heaven with her late husband, Tom Yamaguchi, Michi is survived by: daughter, Marci Furuye (late husband Doug Furuye); daughter in law Patti Yamaguchi (widow of beloved son David Yamaguchi); and daughter Julie Nakano and her husband Andy Nakano.  Her grandchildren: Paige Furuye and partner Andrew Lien; Precious Yamaguchi and husband Andres Rivero; and Darrick Yamaguchi and fiance Hillary Mikulak.  And her biggest joy, great grandsons: Bodhi Rivero and Tiger Rivero.

Michi always had a happy attitude in life and she entered the last stage with the same positivity.  "Oh look at the beautiful trees outside my window!'  She left this earth feeling loved and secure in knowing that she created a warm and loving family who will love and care for each other always.

The family requests that in lieu of kodan or flowers, contributions be made in Michi's name.
