Michiko Uota, 83-year-old, Hiroshima, Japan born resident of Los Angeles, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2025.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Satoshi Uota, and is survived by her loving family: daughter, Judy Uota Higashi; son, Clifford Uota; and sister-in-law, Teruko Takemoto of Selma, CA., and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services for the late Michiko Uota will be held on Saturday, June 7, 11a.m. at L.A. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple (Nishi Betsuin) 815 1st St, LA, CA 90012.
