Obituary
Private funeral services for the late Mrs. Michiko Katayama, 81 year-old, Kumamoto-Ken born, resident of Rosemead, who passed away on August 13 were held on Saturday, August 29 at Fukui Mortuary " Chapel in the Garden", officiated by Reverend Bruce Mallery of Seicho-no-ie.
She is survived by her husband, Masao Katayama; daughters, June (Neil) Murakami and Polly Chun; grandchildren, Alyssa and Kasey Murakami, and Steven and Haley Chun; brothers, Yasuo and Kosuke Uchida of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
Memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20, 12:30 PM at Seicho-no-ie, 14527 South Vermont Avenue, Gardena, California 90247.
