Funeral services for the late MR. MICHIHARU SAKATA, 66, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei, resident of Montebello, who passed away on September 20, at Beverly Hospital, will be held on Friday, September 29, from 7:30P.M. at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.
Due to construction, First Street will be closed, but the corner of Temple Street and Vignes Street will be open.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers that donations be made to Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple.
He is survived by his wife, Kazuko; 3 sons, Brian, Derrick and Steven Sakata; brother Edward (Mitzi) Sakata; 2 nieces Rachel (Nate) Crawshaw and Lauri Sakata; mother-in-law, Taeko Narumi of Japan; brothers-in-law, Shigenobu Narumi of San Francisco and Hideki Narumi of Japan.
