Born October 10, 1917 in Palama, Hawaii. Passed away on May 10, 2007 peacefully in his sleep at his home in Los Angeles, California, at 89 years of age. He will be very much missed and lovingly remembered by his survivors: his wife Doris, his daughter Lynne Miyake, his sons Steven, Bryan, and Michael; his brother Hiroshi Miyake, and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his sister Irene (Harry) Sakamoto.
Services will be held on Tuesday, May 22, 2007, at 5:30 p.m., at the Honolulu Tensho Kotai Jingu-Kyo Dojo, 888 North King Street, Honolulu, Hawaii, and a celebration of his life will thereafter be held for all friends and family on Wednesday, May 23, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Club 100 Clubhouse on 520 Kamoku Street, Honolulu, Hawaii. Casual attire, and valet parking services will be provided. His burial will take place on Friday May 25, 2007, at 11:00 a.m., at the Kauai Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Hanapepe on his beloved island of Kauai.
